Our 'Languedoc Reds Christmas case' includes 6 of our finest reds from the Languedoc appellation in France. The perfect gift Christmas for a red wine lovers.

The case includes a bottle of our Terra Libra Rouge 2017 from the renowned Terrasses du Larzac. Grown on schist terroir and with grape varieties of Grenache, Syrah and Carignan, this is an outstanding example of the great wines now being produced on the Terrasses du Larzac. With a nose of concentrated ripe fruits, moka and spices it is round and elegant in the mouth. It has notes of liquorice, dark red fruits and spices. Long on the finish.

A bottle of Echine d’Ane, IGP Saint Guilhem Le Desert, Grenache Noir, 2020. Delicious red fruits, spices, fresh and fruity. This 100% grenache noir is an exciting new find from this little known but now sought after appellation in the Languedoc. IGP Saint-Guilhem-Le-Désert. Try with rabbit or chicken dishes.

A bottle of Domaine du Meteore, Perseides 2016. A delicious organic wine with a blend of syrah, grenache and mourvedre from the Faugeres appellation. The wine combines mineral notes, cocoa beans, Sichuan pepper and a hint of menthol. Rich with a freshness to the finish, this is a perfect illustration of schist terroir.

A bottle of Terra Autentica Rouge 2017, AOP Terrasses du Larzac. Grown on flinty limestone pebbles ‘galets roules’, perfect for heat and water retention, the stones release heat at night to obtain optimal ripeness. Grenache, Syrah, Carignan and Cinsault provide a nose of violets, red fruits and herbs of the garrigue (herbaceous, peppery and smoky tones as a result of the wild vegetation which grows in the sun scorched limestone soils of the Terrasses du Larzac). A full bodied delicious wine with dominant tannins. Pair with grilled rabbit or tuna.

A bottle of Terra Salvatja, AOP Terrasses du Larzac, 2017. Deep violet and garnet red. The nose is complex and balanced, with spices (cinnamon), undergrowth and cherry. In the mouth it is soft and the tannins are silky. Aromas are persistent and long with notes of the local garrigue and red fruits. Pair with ragu and roast lamb.

A bottle of Vin d'une Nuit, Rouge 2017, AOP Languedoc Saint Saturnin. Bursting with ripe red fruits, this is a full bodied, refined wine with silky tannins. An ideal match with chacuterie and hard cheeses. Vin d'Une Nuit, wine to be drunk in one night, is Saint Saturnin's iconic red with a lovely blend of Grenach (30%), Syra (30%), Carignan (20%) and Cinsault (20%).
